We had a great first student-meeting this afternoon.
To recap: we had initial introductions (for those that showed up on time), double- checked passport names, discussed vaccinations, reviewed the blog, went over our itinerary and shared questions/concerns.
Logistical items discussed:
- If you are getting your passport renewed, PLEASE make sure you send us a copy ASAP!
- Students will need at least 2 extra passport photos - one for Cambodia visa application (which is actually an online application- so tangible photo can be saved) and one for Vietnam Visa. *See Visa link on right for further details.
- Please call your health care provider and schedule an appointment for vaccinations. You can also use passport health www.passporthealthusa.com .
- **You will need to bring the detailed itinerary to your doctor. Being up-to-date with routine vaccinations is essential. Hep A and Typhoid is highly recommended/high risk while the rest is up to you and your doctor to decide which vaccinations you will need/want. Students were given copies of the itinerary at the meeting today and it can also be found on "itinerary link" to the right.
Students also chose segments of the trip to research and present over the next couple weeks.
